Insights 2010

In order to understand the current mindset of the man and woman on the street, Baber Smith has created The Insight Survey. The research is carried out by YouGov with expert analysis from a leading market research professional.

Last year’s Insight Survey focused on the retail sector and generated an incredible amount of interest as M&S’s CEO Stuart Rose seized upon their top performance as the Most Trusted Retailer to create some good news during the tough times.

In June 2010 we followed up the 2009 research and just over one year on there are some interesting results. We’ve also extended the survey to cover financial services, looking into which of the brands in this much maligned sector still command customers’ trust and why. Also new for 2010 is a look into the battle ground for selling financial services products between the traditional providers in this market and retailers looking for a slice of the action.
